DigitalProved (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on https://digitalproved.com (“DigitalProved | Pediatric Software Reviews”) and how we use it. This page is a general overview and is not legal advice.
1. What we collect and why
Contact form. If you send us a message through our contact form, we receive the details you provide — typically your name, your email address, and your message. We use this information only to read and reply to your enquiry. Messages are delivered to our site administration email and kept in our site records for as long as needed to handle your request.
Comments. If you leave a comment on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it; the Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Analytics. We use Google Site Kit to collect anonymized analytics about how visitors use the site — for example, pages visited, approximate location, and device and browser type. This helps us understand which content is useful and improve the site. Analytics data is processed by Google under Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
2. Cookies
When you first visit DigitalProved, a cookie consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Consent preferences — to remember the choice you made in the cookie banner.
- Analytics — to measure site usage (set only with your consent where required).
- Comments — if you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies so you don’t have to re-enter them next time; these cookies last for one year.
- WordPress core — if you visit our login page, a temporary cookie is set to determine whether your browser accepts cookies (discarded when you close the browser); if you log in, cookies save your login information and screen display choices.

3. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as needed to run the site: with our hosting provider, with Google for analytics (see above), and, if you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Articles on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, or articles) from other websites; embedded content behaves as if you had visited the other website directly, and those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.
4. How long we retain your data
Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we store the personal information they provide in their user profile; all users can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
5. Your rights over your data (GDPR)
If you are in the European Union/EEA, you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission).

6. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included, as visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
